WE ARE ONE COLLEGE APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in We Are One College! Our purpose is to provide knowledge, skills, experience and coaching to fulfill your life purpose and maximize your God-given gifts to use them for His kingdom.

We Are One College is a four-year program that functions from September through May. A summer internship is available from the months of May through August for any students interested in continuing their learning.

By submitting this application you are agreeing to the following terms:

  • Maintaining a Godly reputation is vital in ministry. The environments, activities, and behavior you choose to associate with must be above reproach. This should include abstaining from questionable parties, movies and concerts, etc. (If a pastor or any leadership is uncomfortable with your attendance to any particular event, they have the right to tell you not to attend.) Please be transparent for a teaching moment so that you can be protected.

  • The first tuition payment is due on the first day of Welcome Week, Sept 8, 2025. This payment consists of only the first semester’s cost ($750). Failure to make payment on the due date will result in the College leadership canceling your enrollment. (Failing to make your payments on time will cause you to be removed from We Are One College. Please plan your payments in advance to avoid this outcome.)

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Application: Please complete all questions in the application packet. If a question does not apply, you may write N/A (Not Applicable). When finished, please sign and date the form to avoid any delay to the processing of your application.

    2. Recommendations: We would like to have two letters of recommendation for your enrollment into our program.

      1. Personal:  Please provide We Are One College with one personal recommendation. This letter must be completed by a mature Christian adult who has known you for at least two years and is not a relative. (They cannot be currently enrolled in We Are One College).

      2. Pastoral:  The pastoral recommendation form must be completed by a pastor (non-relative) from your home church (this can be your NexGen Pastor).  Please choose a pastor who knows you well and can provide us with the most complete picture of who you are. *If you attend Gateway, you’re exempt from the pastoral recommendation requirement.

    3. Heart for ministry essay: A one-page (double spaced, 12 pt font) essay explaining your heart for ministry including why you believe you're called to the ministry.

    4. Ministry PracTrac Placement: For students who feel called to the ministry but aren't quite sure of the specifics, we encourage you to continue the application process. There will be time designated in your interview to discover the best placement for your PracTrac.

Once you have submitted each of the above requirements, you will be contacted by administration to set up an interview with the WAO College board. Your application will remain invalid and incomplete until ALL of the above documents are submitted. Your acceptance will not be considered until then.

NOTE: ALL of the above must be turned in and completed in order for your application to be considered.

Upon approval of the preceding list and interview, each student will receive a letter of acceptance signed and approved by the We Are One College board along with their PracTrac placement.

*Please know that there will be a six month and one year evaluation with a WAO College Board member to ensure that you are still in the ministry practicum that fits you best.

Complete all following questions to the best of your knowledge.

Please read the College Covenant of Standards before submitting your application.
